The DOCUMENTARY GRAND PRIZE:
The winner of the documentary films category for films running 55' to feature length, a VOD - DVD distribution deal is offered by Cinema Libre Studio of Los Angeles.
The First Look Award:
Offers the winning filmmaker of the narrative feature category, advice and guidance for further promotion of the film either theatrically, digitally, VOD or both, advice and information on deliverables, help with promotion if picked up for distribution as a First Look to consider the distribution of the film.
Short Docs and Narratives
IndiePix offers 5-6 curated films out of the Short films in the documentary and narrative categories and offers them digital VOD distribution online through the IndiePix distribution oulet. The films are listed under the SR Socially Relevant Film Festival collection on IndiePix.
VANYA EXERJIAN AWARD:
The Empowering Women and Girls
The festival presents the Vanya Exerjian award to a film that raises awareness towards violence against women and girls, in commemoration of Founding Artistic Director Nora Armani’s late cousin and uncle, victims of a violent hate crime.
TWO SCRIPTWRITING AWARDS:
1. The scriptwriting prize will be presented to the winning script amongst the ones submitted to the festival. Finaldraft.com offers certificates for downloading the laterst edition of the scriptwriting software.
2. InkTip Script Listing: A listing of your script on InkTip so that producers and reps can find you.
InkTip Magazine: Publication of your logline in InkTip's magazine sent to nearly 15000 producers and reps. InkTip helps writers sell their scripts and get representation. Producers have made more than 200 films from scripts and writers they found through InkTip.
