If driving:

-- approach the theater via 10th Avenue (heading north)

-- turn left on 65 Street (heading east)

-- The Walter Reade Theater is about 1/3 block in, on left, at the banner saying Walter Reade (If you see the Juilliard banner you've gone too far)

-- choice 1: escalator to the next level above the street, turn left at the top, left again to the entrance to the theater on your right

-- choice 2: elevator at street level, left of escalator, to next level, theater entrance immediately on the left

If arriving by public transportation:

-- subway line 1 to 66th street Lincoln Center.

-- Get out at the head of the train and turn left on 65th street.

-- Follow the steps above choice 1 or 2.
