Finale: Dialogue in Circle with Freshly Baked Bread and Wine
Physical ensemble work, dumpster diving, community music/drumming, photovoice, Facebook-activism, ritual sharing, baking bread, creative community writing, and the art of making socially relevant parades are the themes that recur in the film, The Fall of the Bamboos, a short documentary around action learning and the creation of a laboratory for social change based on two experimental University workshops (2014 and 2016) for master students from diverse fields (social science, community work, theatre/music) in Bergen, Norway.
In this workshop by A Propos Theatre, participants are introduced to ways of doing community relevant actions that enhance togetherness and critical awareness. The workshop invites a dialogue around these themes.

Composed, edited and performed by Yael Acher 'KAT' Modiano
A “real-time” response to a time-based artifact of cinema from the Weimar era, Modiano transforms the tradition of live music accompaniment of silent films to a contemporary level of experimentation. The film collage features individual and social power dynamics through motion picture motifs that intensify social relevance.
