WORLD PREMIERE

Electro-acoustic Film Score and Excerpts from Weimar Films collage:

Composed, edited and performed by Yael Acher 'KAT' Modiano

A “real-time” response to a time-based artifact of cinema from the Weimar era, Modiano transforms the tradition of live music accompaniment of silent films to a contemporary level of experimentation. The film collage features individual and social power dynamics through motion picture motifs that intensify social relevance.
